Pre-Season Hunter Pace

The Hunter Pace is an annual competition held at Holiday Farm.

WNEPHA Hunter Pace rules:

    The Pace has two divisions:
  • Hunter - jumping all fences at a hunt pace
  • Hilltopper - slower course, jumps optional, there is a way around all jumps.
The course will be approximately 8 miles long through rolling fields, woods, dirt roads and rivers; all jumps have go-arounds; the course and jumps are clearly marked; the pace times are secretly set.

NO Junior riders (under eighteen) will be allowed to ride alone.

HELMETS ARE MANDATORY!

It is not necessary to be a WNEPHA member to compete.

Prizes:

  • First through sixth place ribbons awarded for each of the two divisions.
  • Any team can consist of one to three riders.
The date for the 2006 Hunter Pace at Holiday Farm has not been set yet.. Call the Stables to get on the list.

Light refreshments available on-site.
